A true reimagining of Stevenson’s beloved Treasure Island.

A boy that dreamt of adventure upon sea will be faced with grave choices, betrayal and lurking danger that will, in turn, make him dream only of returning home. The play examines the parallel desires of Jim and the infamous John Silver and the paths they’ll be forced to take.

A Teaser

“Looking for a musical for the whole family that will not break the bank? The answer is Theatre East’s Devil and the Deep.”

Epoch Times
“…reminiscent of opening a favorite book or a Saturday afternoon movie starring swashbuckling Erroll Flynn. Devil and the Deep is all this, plus music.”
“It is the music by Graham Russell and Katie McGhie that boosts the relevance of the story from a classic children’s must-read to a lively theatrical production.”
Curtain Up

“The storyline in Devil in the Deep has something for everyone.”
“Kudos to Sarita Lou for her fluid choreography…and to Tanya Khordoc and Barry Weil for their brilliant puppet creations.”
