A Name for a Ghost to Mutter follows Lucretia and her three grown children that have come to clean out the home of Lala, her recently deceased cousin and lifelong friend. They instead uncover a mystery. Lucretia and her children journey back to previous generations, visit the ghosts of the past, confront how much they really know about their own family. And ask: “What happens when a woman boldly chooses herself over her duty?” A Chekhovian tale with Horton Foote sensibilities.
