2016-2017 SEASON
THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
NEIGHBORHOOD READING SERIES
The series is moving northward for a special installment at Bronx Brewery!
As we celebrate the 30th reading of the series we thought it befitting to return to the two plays that kicked it off. An uproarious comedic Texas two-step, Lone Star and Laundry & Bourbon are two bawdily rambunctious one-acts by James McClure that center around the relationships of six people in the small town of Maynard, Texas.

MAIN STAGE
A Name for a Ghost to Mutter follows Lucretia and her three grown children that have come to clean out the home of Lala, her recently deceased cousin, and lifelong friend. They instead uncover a mystery. Lucretia and her children journey back to previous generations, visit the ghosts of the past, and confront how much they truly know about their own family. And ask: “What happens when a woman boldly chooses herself over her duty?” A Chekhovian tale with Horton Foote sensibilities.
