CHRISTA KIMLICKO JONES

Christa Kimlicko Jones has been working in the theatre for over 20 years as an actor, director, producer, administrator, or teacher. She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin where she also garnered her certification in Voice/Speech. As a producer and Associate Artistic Director, Christa has collaborated on numerous productions and other various programs through Theatre East. During this time she has had the privilege of working with hundreds of artists including Christopher Durang, Tim Blake Nelson, and Graham Russell (of Air Supply). Christa served as Associate Director of Alchemy Theatre Company of Manhattan from 2005–2008. In addition, she is a founding member and served as Co-Producing Artistic Director of the dirigo group in Austin, Texas.

Christa is an instructor and has been on staff at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC for over 10 years. There, she works with both NYU and conservatory students as a voice & speech teacher, coach, and/or director. Christa has also been on staff at CAP 21, NYU–Tisch/Kanbar Undergraduate Film/TV program, Pace University, Powerhouse Theater Training Program with Vassar & New York Stage and Film and UT Austin.

In addition, Christa serves as the Director of Teen programs at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. In the past, she also worked as Associate Education Director for the Powerhouse Theater Training Program.

Christa is a proud member of the League of Professional Theatre Women, Voice & Speech Trainers’ Association, and Actor’s Equity Association.
